HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Iron Manufacturing and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on machine downtime. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
