HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Seattle, WA)

Nova Timber Insurance is an insurance company in Seattle with claims and service teams, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
