HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Juniper Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in San Jose, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ingredient orders. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
