HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Jose, CA)

Amberfield Sable Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for San Jose and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
