HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Jose, CA)

Redstone Vista Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its San Jose plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proofing. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
