HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Cobalt Staffing connects candidates and employers across the San Jose region, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on onboarding. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
