HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Diego, CA)

Summit Rook Press is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proofing. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
