HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Diego, CA)

Stonegate Timber Construction is a San Diego contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 183 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on project schedules. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
