HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Diego, CA)

Northwind Cedar Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around San Diego, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 184 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on group events. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
