HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Works is an energy provider in San Diego focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter readings. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
