HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Antonio, TX)

Bright Harbor Transit Planning helps transport agencies around San Antonio design routes and schedules, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
