HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Ridge Insurance is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 102 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
