HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Salt Lake City, UT)

Nova Vista Community Partners is a nonprofit in Salt Lake City supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client intake. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
