HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Meadow Insurance and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on premium billing. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
