HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Pine Markets and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on promotions. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
