HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Sacramento, CA)

Harborlight Keystone Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Sacramento, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on hardship programmes. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
