HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Mill Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Sacramento. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service alerts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
