HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Sacramento, CA)

Fernwood Vista Manufacturing is a Sacramento manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scrap and rework. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
