HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Lakeside Transit Planning Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
