HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Richmond, VA)

Northwind Forge Foods produces packaged foods at its Richmond plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on cold storage. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
