HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Summit Birch Energy is an energy provider in Virginia Beach focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter readings. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
