HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Foxglove Sparrow Arts Center Partners is an arts centre in Des Moines with a full calendar of events, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on visitor services. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
