HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Northwind Yarrow Foods produces packaged foods at its San Diego plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on cold storage. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
