HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Fernwood Umber Facilities is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on safety inspections. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
