HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fare systems. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
