HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Bright Cobalt Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Columbus region, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
