HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Fernwood Basin Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Pittsburgh. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on collection routes. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
