HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Summit Iron Medical designs and makes medical devices in Cincinnati. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on production lots. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
