HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Northwind Ember Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Buffalo region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 279 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on timekeeping. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with timekeeping. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
