HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Northwind Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Cincinnati working with agencies and riders, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
