HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Harborlight Ember Property Management is a Detroit property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on rent collection. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with rent collection. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
