HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Cedar Fern Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Detroit with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 762 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on public records. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
