HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Greenridge Meadow Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Chicago, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on maintenance stores. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
