HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Redstone Iron Construction is a Buffalo contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
