HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Summit Umber Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Pittsburgh. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. We reward reliability. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
