HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Westbrook Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Anchorage, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer tracking. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
