HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Foxglove Timber Insurance Group is an insurance company in Baltimore with claims and service teams. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on policy renewals. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
