HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Northwind Ember Construction is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
