HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Cedar Forge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Honolulu, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 124 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
