HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Loom Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on project schedules. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
