HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Bridge Farms and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on grower contracts. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
