HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Rivermark Beacon Press produces print and digital publications in Birmingham, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on press runs. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
