HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Greenridge Rowan Legal Group provides legal services in Chicago across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client files. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
