HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Fernwood Orchard Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Spokane region, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage response. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
