HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Highbridge Harbor Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Detroit, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 946 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service complaints. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
