HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Fernwood River Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Las Vegas area, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing accounts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
