HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Amberfield Cross Civic Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for budget submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on budget submissions. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
