HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Nova Nest Community Partners is a nonprofit in El Paso supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on grant reporting. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
