HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Harborlight Juniper Civic Services Partners works with county and city offices around Birmingham. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on budget submissions. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
