HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Orchard Transit Planning and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on accessibility audits. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
